Alright all my chicken buddies, I’m a newbie in need of advice. I’ve got six hens and am currently getting an egg a day.
Now they’re 18 weeks old so I wanted to know if I just need to give them more time? They’re not molting, and they stay in their coop the majority of the day, which doesn’t have a light right now, but has the daylight that shines through the door to their chicken run. They also have access to an absurd amount of bugs and grasshoppers so I don’t think lack of protein is an issue right now.
I’m wondering if they might need more light, or if there’s something else I might be missing? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
